Frequent Flyer Miles
Even your frequent flyer miles can be passed on for someone else to use. All the years you have spent saving your miles for some fabulous trip should not go to waste if you should pass away before you get to take the trip. You might have a child who could use the miles to visit your grandchildren who live out of state or to use for a well-deserved break.
Most airlines allow you to give your accumulated miles to someone when you die. You should name the airline as well as the frequent flyer number in your estate documents or last will and testament so the beneficiary can easily communicate the gift to the airline.
