I concentrate my practice on estates and trusts with an emphasis on advising individuals, people with disabilities, retirees and their families. I draft estate plans using techniques aimed at ensuring that assets pass to the intended beneficiaries with minimum tax consequence.
My estate and trust administration practice works to ensure that the probate process is conducted in accordance with applicable law and that executors and trustees fulfill their fiduciary duties.
My experience includes elder law counseling, special needs planning, veterans claims and pensions, surrogate litigation and guardianships. I have also had extensive experience in commercial litigation, bankruptcy and municipal law which complements my current practice. I have represented clients in state and federal bankruptcy court litigation and am skilled at drafting pleadings, motions, agreements and discovery documents and researching complex legal issues.
